As early as in 1990 partly because the increasing demand of domestic market and partly because of the shortage of raw material, kaoyeu started to send buying representatives or set factories in countries where the forest resource was abundant such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand etc. For sourcing, processing and exporting various timber and semi-finished products to Taiwan.
